Does anyone know the most humane way (or any humane way, really) to kill snails?

um....they're like globs of goo... So, uh no. Not really.

Are they in your garden or something? Cause there are ways of just stopping them getting in in the first place, like ash, sand, egg shells, etc.

No, they're in our *grapes* which are in our *house*. Luckily they don't LEAVE the grapes until we WASH them (they're all dead now, but salt.... that just seems cruel to me.) All the grapes in the house have been cleaned and removed from their stems and put in the steam juicer basket, so I'm sure there aren't any more for now... but there will be a next time.

So, uh... how do we stop them from getting into our grapes outside in the first place?

Yes, Isaura and Kabochan can't make it, and Pix and I are leaving for Logan early tomorrow, so we thought we'd just make it a nice, relaxed evening.
