update on the new life we're about the begin....

I know the subject sounded a little sketchy, but i meant that we are going to be "officially living together" in a place we can call ours.  Not at my house in NY with my parents and just for the summer, or breaks, I mean forever.  This is the start of living together forever, and i can't be more excited in my whole life.

Saturday we went to look at the last 2 apartments we had to look at.  First up was the one called The Harbor, it was a nice place when we got there, and i thought it was a good first impression.  We got in there and the girl seemed kinda new, or just not as informed as others could be, however she was nice and answered what she could.  We saw a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom, even though we only want a one bedroom one bathroom.  This was all they had to show as of now, so we figured we'd see it ne ways and compare and contrast to the one bedroom one bath throughout the tour thing.  It was quite spacious when we got in there....they had furniture in there, which helped to show where and what we can fit in there and how it would look.  It was very nice and both bedrooms were very big....which is very good.  Everything in the 2 bd/2ba is the same as the one bed one bath except u dont have the extra bedroom or bathroom, so that was definetly good. The only other differences was the bedroom in the one bd/1 ba is more square and not as angled and rectangular....but that's fine bc its pretty much the same, just a little different shaped.  The kitchen also had one entrance with two walls on both sides...but the one bedroom one bathroom has an island with double entrances around it(if that makes sense).  Which i like better, because it gives more space and more eating room with space around it and easier to get to.  Overall it was the second nicest we've seen and the nicest one was a few weekends ago but is very expensive and no utilities are included.  So to be realistic, we pickd this one after thinking a long time and going over everything and making sure this is what we wanted and it had what we wanted.  It's in a good area, close to his(our) friends that are going to be gettin apartments down there as well.  It's not far from his school, i have to still commute 20 min, but i like it better over there ne ways so i really dont mind.  The second one we looked at was one called the Island Club, overall it was nice, but older and kinda smelly and no utilites and not as much space at all.

We are so happy with what we picked. We could've and would've gone with the first one we ever saw(the legacy) if it provided more utilites for the price.  It's soooo nice and just opened in October so it's very new.  We're very happy with what we picked, and we just have to get our applications in and everything so that it can be official.  IT's gonna be so awesome, and we're gonna be shopping more for furniture now, we've found some things we liked so we'll get moving on it probably towards the end of Feb so it can be there by when we move in.  I just cannot wait.  Since in march, we will still be living in our dorms most of the time, we've decided we're gonna live there on the weekends mostly...just so we get our money out of the dorms for the last 2 or so months as well.

Im so glad we have the opportunity to live together and are able to financailly and be pretty stable at this point.  I can't wait for what the future holds...there's so much coming up.

Vday in feb, apartment and my mom coming down in march..along with both of our spring breaks, april is the last month of school, and most exciting is our 4 year anniversary in may (may 14th).....soooooo excited, thought i'd let everyone know.:) feel free to comment with ne thing you'd like. <3 manda
