the spec-crack-ular AU game!

Wow, it's been ages since I've played any sort of writing game in my journal. I remember when I used to do them all the time! I admittedly had less people reading my journal then, but. This one should be both doable and fun, though.

Give me the premise for a crossover (example: Germany gets lost in the middle of a fairytale and runs into Fakir), a ( Read more... )

Sure! ...any more specifics than that? (Specifics are helpful.)

Haha, I'll try and be less general, then!

Hmm. I'd love something to do with the Kit. What it's like in a steampunk 'verse, or whether they use a completely different means of transport. Maybe set around "Conceit and inception" or "It is my very humane endeavour".

"completely different form of transport" = puel goes "OH MY GOD OH MY GOD AIRSHIPS AIRSHIPS" puella_nerdii November 12 2009, 03:18:53 UTC
I, well, I have a few predictable kinks.

--

There is something malevolent, Russia thinks, about the click and whirr of the gears that propel the Kit forward. America's Starbright is a beautiful thing, sleek and streamlined, her crimson fins streaming behind her and catching the sun, and Russia is pleased to know her. He strokes the back of America's seat, smiling. The Kit, however, the Kit hangs bloated in the air, her main balloon swelling larger by the second, and bristles with wings and metal scraps and all manner of guns stuck to her at every angle possible. Perhaps it is good that France never got to see her; he would have disapproved, and very violently.

"She lists to the side, yes?" Russia asks America, and imitates the Kit's pendulous motion with his hand.

"Well, there's something off about her, all right. Don't know if it's a case of outside-in or inside-out, though." America pulls his goggles back into place and grasps the levers nearest to him. "Hang on, I'm trimming the fins, let's see if she'll let us land."

I guess this is a crossover with JS&MN.

England and the Raven King. Presumably such an influential magical personage would have had some dealing with the embodiment of the country he partly-ruled.

Actually, you know what? Considering that Northern England was divided from the South at the time, what implications would that have for anthropomorphic personification? Would it still just be England? Would there be two versions of England, or an entirely new personification for the North?

Um.

Pointless tl;dr being my specialty, I suppose I shall swing it back to England and the Raven King and leave the decisions to you, should you have the time and inclination? /o\

...you know, it's been so long since I've read JS&MN, and I don't think I can do justice to it. Can I ask you for something else?

BECAUSE IF THERE CAN BE A PERSONA 3/BACCCANO CROSSOVER... legit November 12 2009, 00:58:35 UTC
There can totally be a Hetalia/Baccano one:

America meeting Vino/Rail Tracer...while the latter is covered in blood and it's kind of the seedy part of Little Italy in New York and Prohibition-era America is really not sure to make of this...

I am pretty much always up for writing Zack Fair, not gonna lie. puella_nerdii November 13 2009, 04:16:55 UTC
The Solids arrayed before them have called upon the power of their atmas; it would be advantageous to do the same. The mark on Zack's chest throbs, and he notes how the transformation reconfigures his body, twists and splits his arms and broadens his frame. He looks to his companion to call upon his own atma, but his companion does not, and merely regards the advancing line with no change in affect.

Fire blossoms around the claws of the transformed Solid -- Zack presumes he is their leader -- and roars towards --

-- towards Cloud --

"Get down!" Zack yells and scrambles over the ground between them until he's at Cloud's side. It's not the most graceful tackle he's ever made (he's done this before? Apparently), but he's able to keep the flames from him this way, at least. They char Zack's back, and that feeling is definitely pain, but there's a different sensation stirring in him when he thinks Cloud is safe, and even if it doesn't make the pain vanish, it soothes it a little ( ... )

Contemporary-era Princess Tutu. Fakir as a writer, Ahiru trying to make a name for herself as a ballerina, following dreams and admiration of already-famous primadonna Rue. Set in the city of your choice.

Bonus points for keeping the fairy tale allusions and meta-narrative in a modern myth sort of way ♥
