I skipped over to the archive to read the final chapter HOLY SHIT. I applaud this fic and its attention to the more (almost but not quite) mundane aspects of the situation.

I am now more afraid to read the books than ever. :D No, kidding, kidding. I haven't read them because I'm very aware that they're dystopian future and I can only take small doses of dystopian future and certainly not when I'm hormonal.

I would write something more in depth than THIS IS FANTASTIC but I have spent my brains on work and I wanted to make certain that I left a review, even just a fly-by. When you write the sequel, I am so there.

The near-brawl was hilarious and scary and frustrating because the entire time I was all "STOP STOP YOU IDIOTS LOOK AT THE SCREEN LOOK AT IT OH MY GOD YOU'RE GONNA MISS IT!!!11!!" Thankfully, Beetee shared my sentiments. :)

The description of Cato's death and Chaff's point about the Games from a non-trainee's POV were both beautiful and horrible and I wanted to throw up. Mostly at the dream sequence with mutts tearing Finnick apart. Why do you do this to me? WHY, I ASK? You're turning into Collins.

Oh god, I am going to make it through one more chapter in one piece. Hopefully. (Quarter Quell, augh. Can I punch all of the people in this room?)

Thanks! We had a lot of fun building up to the brawl, and it's one of our favorite parts of the whole thing!

And yes, you can totally punch everyone. Most of them deserve it and the ones that don't make fun squeaky Looney Tunes noises.
