I) So this has been true for a while now, but I have a
tumblr! It's called puelhathnofury because that's precisely the kind of dork I am. I'm mostly using it to stalk artists and reblog cool things about women's history now, but I'm starting to figure out how to actually interact with people on it. If you'd like to help me out with that,

Neither of them is particularly good about respecting personal space out of bed, so in bed they try to cling together as close as physically possible and get tangled in each others' limbs and kiss and touch as much of one another as they can. Sometimes it's overwhelming, but neither of them really minds.
2. Who has prettier (or just more attractive) hair
Josiah, because he is a pretty pretty princess about his hair and spends an inordinate amount of time and money on oils and soaps and god knows what else to keep it thick and glossy. On the one hand, he's probably good at warding off lice! On the other hand, he is ridiculous.
3. What they argue about most oftenOliver, as he is avoidant as all hell and a born schemer to boot, doesn't always let Josiah in on his plans. Josiah really really resents this, as one of his driving motivations is to make Oliver see him as his equal. They also come into conflict over Josiah's recklessness, particularly when that ( ... )

Erik/Xavier, or is it Xavier/Erik? From the new X-Men movie. Was he even called Xavier there?
lol, a nostalgic part of me wants to ask about Hetalia.

You know, I don't know if they've had sex often enough to figure out what "most commonly" means for them (and comic!Charles is definitely the kind of paraplegic who can have sex but I don't know whether movie!Charles is because he got shot in the spine). But if I go with the version in my head where they're screwing like weasels during the training period which is totally more like six or so months than a week and I will sort of ignore the parts of canon that tell me otherwise because they don't make sense, then Charles is a tease and Erik is a biter.
2. Who has prettier (or just more attractive) hair
Pre-baldness? Charles. It's thick and curly and oh so pretty. Post-baldness? Erik, by default.
3. What they argue about most often
I think that one's fairly obvious.
4. Who'd cope best if the other one diedCharles, because his response to tragedy is to look for opportunities to rebuild afterward (most of the time), whereas Erik's response tends to be more, er, ( ... )

1. What they most commonly do during sex (if they are the sexing type)
Punch each other. In the face.
...okay, they grow past that point, but there's a lot of wrestling and tussling when they have sex, ranging from "playful" to "christ you're a dick sometimes."
2. Who has prettier (or just more attractive) hair
Barnaby, and he intends to keep it that way.
3. What they argue about most often
Everything. Well, at first. As they become closer, they primarily argue about trust, and how much trust they are or aren't placing in each other (as canon shows us). I suspect they occasionally have spectacularly dumb arguments, though. Like who'd win in a fight between Spider-man and Wolverine, or whatever the in-universe equivalent of that is.
4. Who'd cope best if the other one died
Kotetsu. He'd mourn, certainly, but Barnaby is vengeance-minded and wouldn't settle until he found whoever was ( ... )

There’s a lot of hairpulling, ranging in degrees from fingers-resting-on-partner’s-head-while-partner-performs-oral-sex to full-on yank-partner-close-and-never-let-go. It comes out of a need for contact (and, sometimes, desperation) more than viciousness - I think they like to have as much physical contact as possible when they’re having sex, with not much space between them, and hairpulling is another way for them to get tangled up in each other.
Finnick also really really likes going down on Annie. Annie does not mind.
2. Who has prettier (or just more attractive) hair
Annie’s hair is lovely and long and flowing, but it’s hard to compete with a bronze-haired Greek god. (Even if said bronze-haired Greek god gets yelled at by his stylist all the time for ruining his hair by spending so much time swimming.)
3. What they argue about most oftenFinnick protecting Annie for, ostensibly, her own good, and just how far that protection should extend. There’s a lot he ( ... )

5. The happiest plausible happily-ever-after I can think of for them
…can plausible include AUs? Because in that case, how about the one where neither of them are ever reaped and they end up meaning sometime when they’re a little older and they fall hard for each other and get married and get a boat and have babies. And then there is a revolution. But they all survive! And Finnick gets to spend his days being a fisherman and a father. JUST LIKE HE ALWAYS WANTED.
6. The most tragic possible ending for them
Johanna makes it out of the Arena, and Finnick is the one taken prisoner by the Capitol instead. And if we’re going with the most tragic ending possible, Annie’s probably in there with him, and at this point I cannot continue because I will break down sobbing for my babies.
7. What I enjoy most about their dynamic“Everything” is a cheap answer, isn’t it? Eheh. I talked earlier about my love for relationships with incredibly screwed-up people trying to fix each other, and Finnick and Annie qualify so hard it’s not even funny. Their ( ... )

America and England, please.

America loves to be pounded into the mattress. England loves America's enthusiasm about being pounded into the mattress. It works rather well for them both.
2. Who has prettier (or just more attractive) hair
America. England's is thin and brittle but America's is thick and golden and gorgeous.
3. What they argue about most often
Oh lord, what don't they argue about. The issue at core of a lot of their modern arguments, though, is twofold. First, there's America's position as the global superpower, and the effect his actions have on the rest of the world even when he doesn't realize it, and whether his influence makes everything better or worse or both. Then there's England's own waning influence on the world stage, which gets bound up in his reminiscing about the past and uncertainty about the future. They never quite resolve that fundamental tension, at least not in anything I've written, but over the years they do start to see each other a little more clearly ( ... )

Thanks for sharing all this, and I hope you were able to think about the characters enjoyably without any unhappy fandom associations getting dredged up.

And it was nice to think about the boys again. As complicated as my relationship with that fandom is now, I still love a lot of the stories I told in it, and America and England will always have a place in my heart.
