The first Lilly made contact with us a couple of days ago. We have conversed, but have been shaken to the foundation.

Time to see what rubble shakes free and what stands tall.

We have not felt this vulnerable in some time.

vulnerability, it seems, was a good thing. We re-connected, apologized for or rash actions in our youth, and tried to re-forge a friendship, it feels. Still, though, I've been re-examining a lot of my identity in some ways...

I miss talking to you as much as we used to. I wish we could do that again.. even if only for awhile.
