On October 9th, at 10:49 pm, Vivian Louise Carver was born into this world, 5 months premature for her term.
She was healthy and strong and perfect... there was nothing wrong with her at all. My pregnancy was abruptly terminated by a disorder in my body that no one on this Earth could've diagnosed or prevented. It can be prevented for future babies... but it happened too soon (and too late) for little Vivian to make it into the world alive.
She wasn't just a little person who was growing in my womb... for Kasey and I both, she was our future. She was - is - our precious baby girl, our hope, our miracle, our inspiration. Our daughter. She will be, and is already, sorely missed. Every tear is for you, honey... we love you. We'll be with you someday.
The rest is silence.
