Why not join in on this meme, I had to chop out a few uninteresting sentences because of how fucking long this thing was.

You, every time you're in an awkward silence, have the urge to say "jo-jooooo..."

"jo" is like another word for yes besides "ja"
It's mainly used to stall for time, can also be used when you're not completely certain about something enough to say yes.

Ho man, the bit about English speakers smiling to cover nervousness is SO TRUE.

...I want to learn your language. ;___;

...OK mostly so I can then learn Swedish, and then hopefully be able to get around Norway.

Ha oh boy, starting with Danish to learn Swedish is not a good idea, danish people doesn't understand Swedish all too well, and there's tons of words that means something completely different and insulting in Swedish.
Like our word for bag, "Taske" means prostitute in Swedish (their word for bag is "Väska")

No if you want to start somewhere easy, pick Norwegian. Their language has been influenced by both danish and Swedish so much they have an easier time understand both.

Unfortunately there's no real Norwegian language courses over here - it's all either Danish or Swedish, so most of the advice I've been given has been to learn those instead.

But... Tuesday and Thursday ARE named after Norse gods right? I can't remember any other days of the week but I know those ones are. It's probably sad that I only know that because of playing Age of Mythology.

In our language almost all days are named after Nordic gods, besides Monday, Sunday and Saturday.
so it's: Tirsdag(Tuesday)= Tyr's day
Onsdag(Wednesday)= Odin's day
Torsdag(Thursday)= Thor's day
Fredag (Friday)= Freja's day

So I don't even know what sentence implied :T

So the "You believe that the days of the week are named after the nothern mythology" thing up there was wrong because it implied that they aren't named after Nordic gods, and more than half of them are.
