I find it so funny that I am never aware of ANY wank that goes on in the TF fandom until I hear about it from others. It's funny to me, since I seemed to unintentionally cause a lot of the wank in the fandom I was heavily into before this.
But you guys...Are making me wonder what happened XD
Well if you're aware of the LJ_comm fandomsecrets then you can probably guess the rest.
if you're not: someone made a secret about how, after lurking for three weeks, they hoped the TF fandom would crash and burn. Someone concurred with them and made a list of people who ruin the fandom, the rainmakers was mentioned so vivid_ambrosia asked them how exactly it is we're shitting up the place. Then a huge name-calling bitch fest broke out.

...WAT.
Wow.
I mean, when I first found the rainmakers group on here and was excited about finding YAYART!, I was quite a bit intimidated by you guys. I was banned from the HUGE message board from my old fandom (by the infamous ty-chou, of all people) because my opinions were not of the popular variety, and I've been kind of leary of the BNFs in newer fandoms because of that. Given that, and that difficulty with distinguishing sarcasm from sincerity that occurs on the net, I was a bit terrified to comment on anything you guys did, even though I loved it.
I can still find the collective you a bit...rough around the edges at times, but...Not like the anons in that thread made you out to be *_*
Are we all twelve again, or what? Mostly, I've found this fandom to be incredibly welcoming, especially when I was an ignorant newbie with only BW under my belt.
People take things waaaayyyy too seriously sometimes. :\ The way the anons were going on and on, one would think you guys terrorized the entirety of the web or something.
