Brainy, addictive, good for the world

Like words? Think you have a kickass vocabulary? Wanna test that theory, and donate some food at the same time? You WOULD?

Well, really, who wouldn't?

At least it's 46. I keep getting smacked down at 43, which is frustrating, because I used to have an intuitive knack for vocab. Now I have an intuitive knack for remote controls.

I really need to read more books.

I don't think so. The game is so addictive that, while you can find a comfort level, you can also learn and improve the more you play. I started yesterday and only got into the 40's with the help of a biologist/Latin-roots-knowing friend. Today, I'm getting there on my own.

It's like, I'm learning. Or something.

(It's also kind of fun to get a bunch wrong, take the level down, and hang out in the 20's, where you can get all the words right and feel smart.)

I think book/word junkies & English majors have the advantage. The rest of us will just catch up to them by the end of the week.

620 grains and counting! Yi! And at about 500, I realized that I should've been writing down the words that I didn't know/used my badass etmyological deductive reasoning skills to guess correctly. :(

HAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!

I knew you'd be awesome at this though. I just love having a mindless-but-not activity to play online for break times and conference calls.

I got so close to moving up a level, but then I miss something (as always, go with your first guess!), so I'm holding steady at level 45. But I've gotten up over 1,000 grains of rice! This is a win/win for everyone!
