Good for YOU!! Sometimes I think exercise is the weirest mechanism-- we can't possibly be arsed to do it, and then once started, we're on fire with the love of it. Take care not to ramp up to quickly-- avoiding injury in the early part of training is key.

That poor young woman. Hopefully she will figure it out before too long.

Thanks! I've been taking it pretty easy--75% of my jogging is actually walking. Plus I stretch a lot.

As for that woman.... there are a lot of young women today who not only know they're anorexic or bulimic, they're choosing it and they're proud of it. The strength/willpower of it all, or something. Plus they celebrate the bony-skinny, like Nicole Ritchie & Mary Kate. I have no patience for this kind of foolishness.

b/ i knew a woman who was bulimic while camping/living in the woods as a hippie. she told me she puked in the woods. i hope it was far off the beaten path.

How did I miss this? I'm proud of your commitment, and I understand the obsession. I wake up full of energy these days.

On the flip side, I have an aunt who's been bulimic for as long as I can remember. She's still fat, and her caps fall out regularly.
