Hurricanes Happen

This one is not making landfall, which is of the good.  But we still don't know if the power lines will hold with the bands of rain and gusts of wind we might still get tonight *sucks*

Still we dodged a category 4... is all good.

Here's Dean (no HP relation... I think), he's small but packs a punch.

We're OK, it was just touch and go there for while, we've been extremely lucky dodging these. Power went out a couple of times and it's still raining with a bit of wind but that's about it.

I know other islands weren't as lucky though. :(

Thanks Jo! Power did go out but the electric company has been scarily diligent so far. Meteorologist had predicted it would veer south before it got here but as it got closer they were getting nervous. It's always like that though we never know for sure till hours before.
