Holy crap. I did dinosaurs a couple of weeks ago. The most complex thing I did was 'Do you think this dinosaur eats plants or meat?' They actually did quite well - seems they understand that lots of spiky bits = vegetarian, big teeth = carnivore.

Oh, and one of my kids names is Rex, so naturally he goes by T-Rex whenever possible - making dinosaurs a favourite (with a %$&#ing 'u') topic with the class.
