My visit to the dentist this afternoon cost me a whole R22 (100NT). This for a polish, clean, scrape, fix-up, tinker and to plug a small hole. The last time I went to the dentist, exactly the same service cost me R650! Of course that was back home in South Africa ( Read more... )

If she's anything like Amy at my current kindy, she's all black, rotten gums too! The teeth have rotted down to stubs. And she's 5 years old. She's got a lifetime of bad oral hygiene to look forward to. I think even 10 visits to Mr Dentist ain't gonna help our Amy.
