Four of our five (!) are adult-adoptions. (Okay, so the fifth is a foster, but finding her a home hasn't been easy.)

I wish there was more that we could do.

My own kitteh (that's Duchess in my user pic) is from the Seattle Humane Society, I adopted her 7 years ago when she was 5 years old. If my living conditions were able to allow it, I would adopt 2 more right now. I hope they all find good homes!

If I could handle it, I'd adopt 'em all. Too many people overlook adult cats. :(

I'd adopt them all too, that is my dream. I want a house big enough so they all have their own territory and can hang out together if they want. It just breaks my heart that so many don't have loving homes.

My sweetie and his housemates adopted an adult cat. He is neurotic and weird, like a surly teenager, but we all love him to pieces and embarrass him constantly by picking him up and cuddling him all the time.

Pif says they knew the picked the right one when the guy at the shelter said, "Really? That one? Are you sure?"

I did not know you had a sweetie! :) (But Kat just filled me in, so.)

Does he resist being picked up and snorgled? :)

Well, the cat resists being picked up and snorgled, but only half-heartedly, unless it is my sweetie picking him up (my sweetie is seven feet tall and the cat hates heights).

My sweetie would probably resist being physically picked up, if it were at all possible for me to lift him, which, given that he is twice my size, is not.
