So many women, when asked the age of their newborn baby, give the answer in MONTHS, no matter what. The baby could be well past the one year mark, but they'll say "15 months" or whatever. Woke up feeling the beginnings of another cold, which isn't a big surprise since I've been running myself ragged between work and school this week. The feeling has been lingering, but I went ahead and worked out anyway so as not to slip off schedule. I'm never again going to schedule a haircut appointment in the a.m. I should have known mornings weren't her best time from her silence. My hair stylist is normally bubbly and full of frivolous questions. Rolled out of bed and trudged up the stairs to get my things together. Somehow, I was able to grab a quick shower before heading out the door.
