I always seem to think to myself in the case of UK sentencing "it should have been at least TWICE what they got" the sick part is the fuckers get out EARLY on top of that too. I know a lot of people knock the US, but I really think that at least the SENTENCING there is a bit more reflective. If someone mugs and kicks the shit out of you, they get a proper five to ten years. Here they probably wouldn't even end up going to jail...

I mean some poor guy dead, so they could have a laugh? They don't even seem to give a shit.. Fuck. Imagine their faces if they got a 30+ year sentence. I think I'm on the side of the old skool on this. Jail is not a deterrent, nor is it a shot at "rehabilitation". No: it's about revenge and punishment. Lock the fuckers up until they're broken and feeble, with nothing ahead of them in life except their old age on release and a life unfulfilled.

Still a better deal than getting murdered in cold blood by some shits out for a laugh...

A 12 year sentence does not fit the crime. They should be getting life, if not that at least 25-30 years as do most people that commit such crimes. Does the judge think that because they are young that they will be rehabilitated? The law system seems to be breaking and those in control do not even know the meaning of manslaughter and murder anymore. A gang that beats people, not even trying to rob the people but through pure evil and wanting to see suffering. Those are evil people that are not fit for this society. The death sentence or full life in prison would seem fit here.

which brings another point, why doesnt life mean life.

And by brutally killing somone its not a a case of rehabilitation, no matter how much rehabilitation they recieve, the victim isnt going to rise from the dead. it seems too wrong.

ah well,
