Lately, my heart is hurting. Recently, I have become more aware of things (problems) in the world, and I just feel like there are so many people who are looking for so many different things. The overall result is that everything in the world is getting consistently worse and consistently more acceptable. I realized this when I saw the Levi's

I think it's all about this idea of "sticking it to the man" (the man being religion in this case). If religion tells us that sex/drugs/language are bad, people just assume it is wrong. They don't even listen to why. They think, "You tell me sex is bad, but guess what: I just had sex, and it was great! You must just be telling me that because you don't want me to have a good time! So I am going to ignore religion!"

And people also listen to science a little stupidly, too. For example, people think, "Wow, I just found out in science class that humans are actually animals, too! And other animals have sex without getting married, so I should, too! Cool!!!" But this isn't even true! Only two other species besides animals have sex for pleasure; all the rest do it for no other purpose than to reproduce. Therefore, if we really want to be like animals, perhaps we should only have sex once a year during our mating season (hmm...I can't even seem to remember when that is...)

I have a lot more to say, but I am going to stop.
