Happy 4th of July! (I'm lame...I know. Stop judging)

I'm celebrating by...doing laundry! Yay! Not. I leave for Wisconsin tomorrow, and I just realized all of my clothes are wrinkley/smelly/dirty. And seeing as how nudity is not commonly acceptable, laundry was in order.

When I was driving home from church choir tonight there were so many lightning bugs in the air I felt like I was traveling at hyperspeed like in Star Trek. That mixed with the real lightning was beautific.

It was fun, I spent oodles of money, we saw which ever part of Siegfried and Roy didn't get eaten by a tiger at a magic show that included Pam Anderson, we slept, we ate, and we tanned. End of trip.

Just got back from Vegas...about an hour ago. Really fun. I'm pooped, though.

Time for bed. I'll post a real update later. I have to get up early and visit my dad in the hospital; he had his appendix removed tonight. Ick.

I may have gained an appreciation for country this weekend. Maybe.

So, we are leaving for the airport in less than a half hour and I am ready. Well, by ready I mean all packed and such. I am crazy nervous, so I would *not* say that I am emotionally ready haha. Quick update on life...

* I leave for Vegas in less than a week. Matt and I are going to stay with his brother and his brother's g/f for a week. Yay!
* We may have furniture for the apartment!
* My fish died...both of them. It marked the first time I have ever cried over the loss of a fish. I was basically devastated for the day.
