I kept my last name. It's not (and shouldn't) be that unusual. I actually really like my last name - it is a reminder of my grandfather, who I adored - and I changed my first to something I didn't hate, so I now have a name that I've chosen to keep. P.S. Ask him, gently, if he'd feel okay giving up his last name for yours. I doubt he would. Most men tend to assume that's the way things will go, but that's only because they (and we) have been raised to accept it as the norm. When you think about it, it's kinda not cool that women are expected to give up their last name. People should always have a choice, and a guiltless one at that. Wade was possibly a little surprised about the name thing (I can't even remember, it was that much of a non-event), but it lasted only a few seconds. He's pretty cool like that.
