my nose and toes are constantly
frozen here in my apartment.

i need someone to crawl in under
all my blankets with me and laugh
at my corny jokes until we pass out
with smiles on our faces...

a kiss could fix it all.

a kiss on the forehead
says it all without a
single word.

a million others waited at my gate
we build the fences
now we can't escape
hide with me under the covers

tomorrow when you are walking down the
street or jammed in that packed bus try
and smile at a stranger. they will smile
back, i promise you this... and you're
day will hopefully be better knowing for
that brief moment you made someone happy

feels good to be this happy.
how did i manage to ever allow
myself to be so bummed... over
that scene; i mean it.

i am surround by people who love
me every single day. today i am
going to let them know just how
much i am grateful! that's what
it's all about. forget about the
chocolates...go tell some one
you care about that you love em!!
