Pic of the Day: October 1st
I can't believe another October is upon us! Last year's OPotDC doesn't really seem that long ago somehow. But I'm thrilled that it's here again!
It's a bit rainy today, but you had to know I wasn't about to start off the month with an indoor picture! And what better dolls for a rainy day than the Wellie Wishers? Here are Willa and Kendall. I'd planned to use Kendall all day for some reason but when I went to get her, Willa demanded to be in the photo as well, and here we are. I have a feeling the Wellie Wishers will be around quite a bit this year. They just make me smile so much. With them is the huge-ish pumpkin I got at work. I wanted the same one last year but somehow every single one of them I came across, was missing its stem. I'm not sure if this year's were just redone or there was literally a criminal on the loose breaking pumpkin stems last year, but regardless, I'm happy to finally have this guy. I was initially worried he'd overpower the dolls but I think it looks like a cute candid picture. I'm not overly thrilled about all the greenery near Kendall or the weird angle I had to take the picture on due to the slope of my driveway, but I wanted to go where the leaves were, and I didn't want the dolls getting muddy.
I think it may turn out to be a challenging month...To be honest I thought about not doing this at all this year, but I just couldn't give it up in the end. And I'm feeling super-inspired now.
