Pic of the Day: October 7th
The Wellie Wishers are so colorful that they're the perfect match for the colorful pumpkin pails! Here's Camille with a green and a blue one. They really do match her outfit almost perfectly, and I really do feel like the colorful pumpkin pails capture the essence of being a little kid, and picking out a pail in your favorite color. I mean, they didn't start making the colorful ones until I was much older, but I'd imagine that's how it works. I just find them so fun and festive, and the Wellie Wishers are such happy, colorful dolls, that it just works. It's hard to pick a favorite Wellie Wisher because they are all just too adorable for words, but I do love Camille a lot, despite her being kind of the generic blue-eyed blonde. She makes me think of my childhood when I look at her, maybe because there were so many blonde-haired, blue-eyed dolls then. At any rate, I really wish AG had made Halloween outfits for the Wellies Wishers. I was very disappointed that none of the AG clothing stands at Applefest had anything for them, either.
