Here's Alana with all of this year's ornament-sized Halloween figurals from Target. I'm not sure if anyone will recall, as I'm not sure I ever really even talked about it here, but last year, some of my most wanted items were the Target Halloween figurals, and I went to Hell and back trying to find them all. It honestly was one of the worst hunts of my life, and that's saying something. I was almost dreading Target's Halloween release this year, because I knew I'd want the figurals again and I knew they'd be nigh on impossible to find. However, I went to Target on a whim one day in September and found all the standing ones, plus two of the ornaments. I only bought the bat ornament at the time, as I didn't want to get sucked into having to hunt down the rest of the set. Then a couple of weeks later, I found the pumpkin, and the cat again, but again I left the cat, figuring I'd never find the ghost and the collection would always be just one short, which would drive me insane. But then, at the mall Target last week, there was the ghost waiting for me, along with one other cat. I had every intention of buying the cat finally, but his hat was ripped and hanging off, and he was my least favorite anyway, so I left him again and just got the ghost. Now today, I was back in that same Target and that same little cat was still there (along with a bat and pumpkin) and I just had to get him, figuring it would be my last chance to complete the set, and I felt kind of bad that no one else would likely want him anyway. He's currently sitting in the kitchen, waiting for the glue on his hat to dry. Anyway, I feel like I kind of chose Alana for this picture to represent myself and the crazy story surrounding these particular decorations. I actually had a lot of fun with this picture.
