i got an email this morning from the indiana admissions department saying they received my check today. BULLSHIT. i got delivery confirmation telling me it arrived last wednesday. i REALLY want that admissions packet, but at the rate they're going, i won't get it for weeks.

our newest assignment in drawing class is the enlargement of an image and the recreation of it in white charcoal on a dark-value paper. my choice is a very dapper cherry perfectly balanced on a pear. i feel like drawing is a sort of wrestling match - shoving and pulling charcoal here and there on the paper until the various blobs vaguely ( Read more... )
