DIVINATION is not a WASTE of time, Professor! it is a highly challenging subject. not like arithmancy, of course, but still quite hard.

and peter is doing loads better in class....he's real smart, you know and a quick learner.

it's not only that. reading tea leaves is a small part, there are other, much more difficult branches of divination. oh, some are really hard, professor.
