kyuhyun sat on his usual stool in the bar. leeteuk approached him and gave him a paper.
“here,” leeteuk said, “the reply from your danhobak. such a sweet writing he did.”
kyuhyun sighed and snatched the paper from leeteuk’s hand, “first, he’s not my danhobak, hyung. and second, you can’t read my stuff before i did!”
leeteuk just shrugged and gave kyuhyun a glass of beer.
i see. it answered my question why you didn’t watch me. are you in holiday? you look like a high schooler for me, but you’re allowed to enter here. how could?
(s)
“hyung, pen please.” kyuhyun raised his hand.
leeteuk rolled his eyes and threw his pen, earning a ‘thanks’ from kyuhyun.
yes, i’m in my holiday. is it obvious? and i’m allowed here because i have a friend here.
(k)
“how sweet. you’re getting to know each other.” leeteuk giggled.
“shut up.” kyuhyun blushed, “he’s just an acquaintance for me. i haven’t met him, okay?”
“yeah, whatever.” leeteuk replied, stuffing the paper into his pocket.
kyuhyun looked around and frowned, “where is he? is he not performing?”
leeteuk looked his watch and counted, “in three..two…one…”
“good evening, everybody.” the sweet voice was heard, “i hope you’re not bored to see me.”
the sweet voice chuckled and kyuhyun heard a slow melodic from the guitar strings, “tonight, like usual, i’m going to bring you three songs. first song, ‘call me maybe’ by carly rae jepsen for the same guy i addressed yesterday.”
kyuhyun frowned and leeteuk answered it for him, “yes, it’s for you, kyuhyun. now, shut up.”

kyuhyun opened his front door and was shocked by a man’s voice.
“welcome home.” kyuhyun was greeted by small smile of hangeng.
“thanks.” kyuhyun smiled back, “where’s zhoumi by the way?”
hangeng made a nervous face and straightened his back, “okay, please don’t be mad at me. i got this from him, right when i just woke up from my nap this evening after you’d gone.”
kyuhyun read the paper hangeng gave to him and fisted it until it was crumpled.
“that bastard…” kyuhyun gritted his teeth.
“i’m sorry, kyuhyun…” hangeng bowed, “i’ll pack my things and leave if you’re troubled…”
“no, it’s okay, gege.” kyuhyun managed to smile, “this is not your fault if that fucking bastard just went like that, leaving you here. and i don’t mind if you spend your remaining four days here. but, if you don’t mind, can i call that stupid thin guy and do something to him?”
hangeng nodded, “err…please…”
“thank you.” kyuhyun smiled and pressed some buttons furiously on his phone.
“hello, kui xian?”
“don’t ‘hello’ me, you jerk!” kyuhyun shouted to the phone, “how mean you are, leaving you’re friend in my house like this?! where are you, zhoumi?! oh, i was going to chop your balls out if i met you!”
“oh, wow…thank you, kui xian, but i still need my balls, please. and have geng showed you the letter? i said i was sorry there!”
“don’t call me with my chinese name, stupid!” kyuhyun slammed the table, making hangeng jump on his seat silently, “and if sorry could pay everything, then there wouldn’t be any police in this world! where are you?! i’ll come to you and i swear it will be the last thing you want to experience in your life time!”
“eh…err…sorry, kui xian…my plane will be take off soon, so i have to hung up. love you~”
“wait, you bas…!!”
click! the phone was hung up.
“agh!” kyuhyun groaned, stomping into the kitchen. the last thing hangeng heard was a shattered glass sound.
“zhoumi…” hangeng whispered, “you’re screwed…”
hangeng reduced the volume of the tv and waited kyuhyun finish the last shout.
“that bastard really got into my nerve…” kyuhyun sighed.
“err…?” hangeng tried to talk, “are you okay?”
“yeah, gege. thank you.” kyuhyun replied, flopping down beside the chinese man, “i’m really sorry for my cousin. zhoumi is irresponsible sometime…no…a lot of time…”
hangeng smiled and sighed, feeling secure to open the conversation, “i know. but, he’s really my best friend.”
“good, i’m glad you don’t have any problem with him.”
“kyuhyun, there’s something i want to ask.”
“sure.” kyuhyun shrugged.
hangeng rose and took the broken watch from his room, “here. this watch is broken. i don’t know how to fix it. do you know where the counter of this brand is?”
kyuhyun observed the watch for a while and nodded, “if i’m not mistaken, there’s one in coex mall.”
“really?” hangeng sighed in relief, “so, how can i get there?”
“it’s not that far. you can go there with taxi. but, i suggest you to go tomorrow, not now. do you need me to go with you?”
hangeng shook his head, “no, it’s okay. i can go there by myself. thank you for the info.”
“you’re welcome.” kyuhyun nodded, “what happened to your watch? was it fallen?”
“it’s not mine. it wasn’t fallen. it got shot.” hangeng answered.
“got what…?”
“err…shot. okay, i was walking to the mini market you’d said before, and suddenly there was this guy bringing a gun and caught me. and there was an officer helping me out, he got shot on his wrist, almost i mean. the bullet shot the watch and it fell. and…it was broken…”
kyuhyun widened his eyes and shook hangeng’s shoulder, “oh my god, gege!! are you okay?! you didn’t get hurt, right?!”
“wowowow, kyuhyun, i’m okay. just the watch got hurt.”
kyuhyun sighed, “i’m worried. be careful next time, gege.”
“i will.” hangeng chuckled, “thanks for worrying me, kyuhyun. i’ll go to sleep now. good night.”
“good night, gege.”
###
“thank you.” hangeng smiled to the taxi driver and stepped into the huge mall. he approached the information stand and asked his direction.
“it’s not far, sir. you just have to go straight after the first left turn in this alley and you’ll find it on your right.”
“thank you.” hangeng smiled and left the stand.
“excuse me, can i help you, sir?” the attendance ask him.
“yes, hum…this watch is broken. can you fix it?” hangeng gave the attendance the broken watch.
she observed the watch and nodded, “it may finish in about four days, sir, because we have to wait the chain from the center. this kind of watch is already rare now.”
“i see…” hangeng sighed, “can you make it in three days? i have to go back to china.”
“sorry, sir. that the best we can do.”
“there isn’t any of this brand counters in china, is it?”
the attendance asked her manager and shook her head, “we have the counters in china, but they usually didn’t accept this type of watch. this type was produced only in korea.”
hangeng sighed disappointedly, “i see…”
“so, sir, do you want to fix it?”
“i’ll think about it first. thanks for your time.” hangeng smiled and left the counter, “how can i fix this watch…?”
he eyed the not ticking pointers of the watch and put it on his wrist, “maybe i should use it like this.”
his phone suddenly vibrated. he got a text from kyuhyun.
from: cho kyuhyun
hyung, where are you? zhoumi called me just now and asked about you. he said he couldn’t reach your number. i think you better call him. he sounded like an old man with burnt beard.
“ah…” hangeng nervously grinned by himself when he saw 17 missed calls from zhoumi and 3 missed calls from kyuhyun.
to: cho kyuhyun
i got it. i hope he didn’t make you troubled, kyuhyun. sorry if he did. and don’t worry. i’ve just got out from coex mall.
after texting kyuhyun back, he called zhoumi.
“zhoumi?”
“where are you?! you made me worried half to death!” zhoumi screamed through the phone.
“sorry, but zhoumi…”
“ i couldn’t reach your number! kyuhyun couldn’t do it either!”
“i know, zhoumi, i’m so…”
“where are you?! why didn’t you ask kyuhyun to come with you?!”
“i’m in coex mall and…”
“why did you go all alone?!”
“zhoumi!” hangeng shouted to the phone until people around him staring at him. hangeng hurriedly bowed down and ran away from there, entering the nearest café, “you embarrassed me!”
he ordered a cup vanilla latte and sat on the table nearest to the window while he was listening zhoumi blabbering on the other side of the line.
“embarassed you?! you almost made me dead in worry and you said i did embarrass you?!”
“you made me shout in the middle of people, zhoumi!” hangeng whined, “so, yes, you embarrassed me!”
“oh, god, geng! you’re unbelievable! okay, princess, your vacation is over! now go back to china!”
hangeng nearly spat out his drink, “no way! you said it was a week! i still have three days!”
“no! i’ve just bought your ticket home! your plane will take off on 11pm!”
“zhoumi! you’re mean!!!” hangeng breathed disbelievingly.
“i am! now go back to kyuhyun’s house and pack your things!”
and the lanky man hung up the phone, leaving hangeng dumbfounded in shock.
###
“oh, hi, gege.” kyuhyun greeted the messed chinese man, “what’s wrong?”
“your cousin is wrong…” hangeng answered, nearly burst into tears, “i have to go back to china tonight…”
“eh? why? was it zhoumi telling you?”
hangeng nodded.
“aish, that stupid junk. you want me to talk with him, gege?”
hangeng shook his head, “no, it’s okay although it’s not. can you do me a favor, kyuhyun?”
“sure, as long as i can.”
hangeng put off the broken watch and gave it to kyuhyun, “the attendance said i couldn’t fix it in china although they have counters there. so, can you help me to fix it here? you can post it to zhoumi if it’s done.”
“of course, i’ll do it. but i think i will post it directly to your house because i don’t think you want to explain your story about how you got this watch.”
hangeng grinned after imagining zhoumi’s angered face, “okay, it’s nice idea. wait, here is my card. you can post it to this address.”
“okay, gege. you want me to help you with the packing?”
“surely. thanks, kyuhyun.”
