donghae tip toed slowly until he managed to open the room door of their house and walked silently outside the dark room. he had prepared his heart. he had prepared his mental. and he had prepared everything to leave the house.
he had reached the front door and smiled for freedom when suddenly a bullet was shot to cripple his leg. a painful scream was heard after that.
“you can’t go off me, donghae…” an icy low voice was heard.
“no…” donghae turned his face and saw the man he didn’t want to see anymore, “please…i won’t tell anyone, but please…let me go…”
“no, can’t do…”
donghae crawled with his wounded leg, trying to reach the front door, because if he could open the door someone would definitely hear him screaming.
i feel like a worm that was crawling from a bird…, donghae thought.
a foot pushed the front door shut back with a thud. donghae knew whose it was. a hand yanked his hair, forcing him to look up. donghae could see the lust and violence was sparkling on those black eyes.
“please, siwon…” donghae begged, “let me go…”
“i’ve told you, donghae. i won’t do it.”
siwon released donghae’s hair harshly and sat on the sofa with icy smirk.
“run, donghae. run and hide. but, no cheating, you can’t go out of this house because i guard the front door. run and hide. you better hide fast and soundless. or i’ll find you again. if you can survive in ten minutes hiding,” siwon’s lips grew wider and his tongue wiped his lips in lustful way, “you know what will happen to you. but, if you can hide from me more than ten minutes, i’ll let you go.”
donghae dropped his bag and hurriedly ran to hide himself. but, the wound on his leg was really hurting him. and also the pain of wounds siwon had made earlier, on his chest, back, head, arms, on his body.
the house was huge. there were so many rooms and many places to hide. but, donghae still couldn’t feel safe anywhere. he kept changing his place because of fear.
“donghae!” siwon’s voice echoed in the huge house, “time’s up. tem minute from now, be ready, baby!”
donghae could feel his adrenaline raging even more throughout his body. he picked a random room and hid in the small cabinet at the corner. his legs and neck were painfully crooked. he didn’t care. he just wanted to live and stopped siwon from hurting him.
ten minutes.
it felt like years…
he could hear the step passing the room his pick. donghae was waiting. he was waiting for siwon not to find him. donghae could feel that he slowly was out of his mind. the thing made him crazy and made him push himself off his head. he clutched his head tightly. his pulled the strands painfully with his hands. his breath was labored. even for breathing, he was still hearing it too loud.
“donghae?” siwon’s voice was heard again, this time was surely in the room, “donghae, baby, where are you?”
donghae held his breath. he could hear his lungs screaming for air. he could himself half to death. but, no, he wouldn’t let his breath out.
the step was slowly faded away until it wasn’t heard anymore.
donghae let his breath at once, feeling a little bit safe because siwon didn’t check the cabinet where he was hiding.
but, suddenly, the cabinet was opened harshly with a loud bang.
donghae swore he could be dead at that time. what made him realized he was still alive was the pain of the gun siwon was forcing down into his throat.
he muffled some scream but it wouldn’t be heard anyway.
“i told you that i would let you go if you could hide from me for ten minutes.” siwon chuckled darkly, “but, you only survived for two minutes, donghae.”
donghae’s eyes were brimming with tears.
“sssh…” siwon removed some strands from donghae’s damp forehead, “it won’t be long.”
the last thing he knew was the pain and then the darkness.
