Thanks to my lovely wife, I have now joined the masses of people who have portable music players. I didn't go iPod, though. I went with the Creative Zen Vision:M 30GB. It plays video, displays pictures, and the expected music files. I really need to sit down at my computer for a couple of hours and just transfer a metric buttload of music to it. I can't believe I'm actually thinking about this, but I might attempt a novel for NaNoWriMo this year. I don't like to read, so it seems weird for me to do something involving novels. Oh, also, my favorite baseball team, the St. Louis Cardinals won the World Series last week. They were the first team I ever cheered for, and this is the second time I got to see them win it all. My company was offering free flu shots to all employees, so I decided to take one. I've had a flu shot once before, and although it made my arm hurt for a couple of days, it wasn't that bad. Today, though, the nurse stabbed my arm like she was trying to pop a balloon. I think I know how victims of gang violence feel now.

I just finished an interesting evening. Dr. Wifey and I went to a show called Amish Burlesque. It's a comedy musical thing, and it was really funny. Even more interesting was that I was part of the show briefly.
