The end and the beginning [yes, in the same order] are contorted myths. The concept of infinity [and eternity if you will] is beguiling, very. Sometimes it is comforting to see it as an assortment of infinite elements [moments] - the countless yet with definite end points. Sometimes as endless, the end approaching the beginning in a continuum.

Guess what I found :P And oh I LOVE that song!! This is gonna be a bit off from the whole college ending and you being all nostalgic and all, but anyway :)
I think that we see comfort in the whole beginning and end bit cos it gives us a sense of knowing, maybe even security. Cos see, if we cannot perceive something we tend to not believe in it, as you said infinity, eternity, its all a dream isnt it? But i'd rather wait for that dream cos it sounds permanent, where as the concept of beginning and end seems very temporary, almost assuring that there would be a change, which may be good at times, but what if you like it the way it is right now and wouldn't want much of a change??
And yes, the best thing about a kid is that when they smile at you, its cos you are smiling at them, just that simple innocent gesture is enough to make one's day :) Yes i'm in blab mode, I know I've said this a lot, but its good reading your stuff :P
