Hello:)
Was pleasantly surprised to find your blog on the top of my Blogroll, as you hvnt updated ur blog in ages:P I thought you had migrated to another blogspace, but good to see u back:)

Wow learnt many new things. Last i knew u were in Bhopal, nw in Amdavad. Last i knew u were doing computers / IT nw MBA. Making music, investing in a DSLR:)) great. speaking of MBA n Ahmedabad, r u studying at the hallowed IIMA now?

Agree with you when you say that music stays with you, even if you forget the lyrics. I love many songs in which the language of the lyrics is completely alien to me, but the music is what keeps me coming back to them - case in point Cheb Khaled, Rammstein, the Japanese section of the Kill Bill soundtrack among others:P

Hopefully the new DSLR will trigger more regular blog posting:)

Last but not the least - Welcome Back:))

take care
ciao:)

Hey TD,
Trust you to get back to me whenever I get back to the blog! :) How are you?
Hahaha....you sure have traced my life accurately until now. :D No, I am not doing my MBA from IIM A but from MICA (www.mica.ac.in).

Rammstein is COOL, I will try Cheb Khaled now that you've mentioned it.

Fingers crossed, I hope I buy a DSLR first and there shall be more pictures, even if not many words. ;)

Thanks for the welcome :P

TC you too.

But isn't a picture worth more than a thousand words????

Btw where are you doing your internship? I have a hunch its in Bombay. :-D

I totally understand the feeling. Sometimes when I am down hole it is music that brings me up.

>>>too much of Two and a half men

you can never get too much of Two and a half men. Just finished watching cruelly shortened 8th season of the series. Too bad Charlie Sheen cannot get his act together. :-(

>>>>hopefully there will be a DSLR in my life soon

Yayyy. Hopefully we can see more of your wonderful clicks. I particularly liked the shot of the sunset. Which one are you planning to buy??? Might I recommend Nikon's D3100 if you are looking for entry level cams.

I just finished season 5, I want season 6 and it's not there on LAN. :(

:D:D:D
I am roughly planning to spend half of the stipend on the DSLR, so I don't have better options than entry level DSLR though. I was thinking of buying D90. Basically a 18-105mm lens camera. Do you have any other suggestions?

Well D90 is not an entry level cam and seriously speaking it is a bit outdated model.
Although if you are looking in that price range, then you can also think about Nikon D7000 its the latest entry from Nikon and is a much improved, or there is Canon EOS 60D.

You can get 18-105 lens for any of the above models. Some of the tamron lenses are much better than the nikkor lenses. Just compare the lenses beforehand when deciding about the lens.

Hope it helps. :-)

www.kenrockwell.com is one site where you get good reviews for the lenses. :-)

I considered D7000, but that's not in my affordability range. :(
I'll check out Canon EOS 60D. Is there any place get these cams at a better price (compared to the one quoted on the website of nikon or canon)?

From my research, i understand that an 18-105mm lens makes a better lens for all sorts of photographs. While canon's 28mm/35mm is way too niche.
