The question is - Why?

I have an exam in 12 hrs and trust me, it's not really one of those where you can get away with pfaffing. But I just can't make myself study (fine, that is the story everytime but this time the excuse is not same as everytime). What has truly been bothering me, eating me up from inside, crumbling my soul and creating an urgent need to obliterate ( Read more... )

friends, exams, shaadi-waadi, procrastination

I went through the same thing.
Then they all had KIDS!
And now the kids are even almost grown up!
Ack!
Soon they will re-emerge from their reproductive responsibilities and become people again...>;}

Besties for exam. :-)

I totally agree with you with the friends getting married part. Almost everybody in my college, School and workplace batch is married.

The sad part is every time an old friend catches up there first question is "When are you getting married?", I mean come on man I know you tied the knot (No pun intended, well alright some pun intended) why don't you just be happy in your married life and let me be happy in my bachelorhood life. x-(

So when are you getting married? :P

Yeah, I know it's bloody irritating. I think it is partly because atleast in India, life post-marriage is very different, both for girls and guys. So there are in-law stories, the-better half stories, the stories from the friend's family about the in-laws or the "better-half".

What really amuses me is that now a couple of my guy pals (esp those who claimed that most of their girl pals would be married off before they tie the knot ) have gotten engaged too. :D

Some even two!! I know I know. And I am thinking, "wow, has the pregnancy period shrunk to less than 9 months or what? Didn't she have a kid 'just a while ago'?"

But they all seem more or less happy, so that's good. :) I guess the midlife crisis is yet to hit them :P

I am done with pretty much all the TV serials (even those apart from my fav genre of sitcoms) available on lan! I am onto online TV viewing now!!

I know! There's no running away from it. It's happening on gtalk status messages, facebook, thank God linkedin yet doesn't have a tab for the relationship status, otherwise I am telling you it'll give tough competition to matrimony.com!
