You have no idea how wonderful this photo/entry made me feel!

I vowed to read every book I own before my move, so that I could purge a bunch. However, my town had a booksale (no book was over $1, and there was a second edition Little Women with illustrations, as well as some lovely sheet music for collages, and about 4 books that I HAD to read.

THEN, 2 days later, the Pitkin County (Aspen, Colo.) library had a huge book sale where nothing was over $2, and there were about a dozen books. Many were for gifts, but many, alas, were for my own enjoyment.

So now, I'm up at least a dozen books...aaaargh! Must...read...faster!

Damn my bookwormy ways!

See, my problem is that I can't even think of getting rid of any of my books. I'm like that pack-rat goblin from Labyrinth.

Ha! That's one of my favorite movies ever! (Bowie was my first crush: eeew!).

Well, I have grand *plans* to reduce the collection. As to whether it becomes a reality or not...time will tell.
