One day of not wanting to talk about Leopard and I'm the biggest dick ever

Getting my new laptop is what caused me to be so poor,, I didn't really need to get a new one and now look at me

Unless your current computer[s] don't allow you to do what you need to do I'd say get a full time job, pay off your debts, then wait for the next upgrade to happen

Also when are you installing Leopard I want to try screen sharing

Thanks Kevin.

I really don't need a new computer right now.

I will pay off my debts as they are a higher priority.

Didn't I have you try Chicken of the VNC with me? Screen sharing is cool and then once you take control of the other person's computer, it's like, "Okay.......... now what?" But yes, we shall.

Thanks again for your input. It has helped.

Credit Card Debt anonymous October 28 2007, 23:04:22 UTC
You're correct that not paying down the credit card debt is a problem. By allowing the current debt to sit you're paying more than you intended for previous purchases in the form of interest. By adding to that, you'll be doing the same for the computer. I would highly recommend staving off the desire to buy a new computer and concentrating on your credit card debt. Once you've paid that off, do some budgeting and save for future high ticket purchases. That way, you pay the actual price.

Some advice to help you curb your desire:

1. Calculate what you will actually pay, with interest, by calculating how long it will take you to pay off the credit card.

2. Wear headphones when you work on your computer.

Just some advice from a friend who has learned from his mistakes. I look forward to seeing you in December.

Thanks Jonath- , I mean, Anonymous. Yeah, I don't know what I'm thinking. The credit card is from when I bought this computer 2 years ago (and steadily piling things on top of it). A new computer is a very low priority right now; paying the credit card a high one.

Thanks for your input and I too look forward to seeing you around the holly days.
