How does one send stuff? Do you have to do customs forms? Is it expensive? I'm curious. Even for a postcard or letter, is there extra postage required?
If you have the address and want to spend a postcard a single 44cent does the trick. I honestly am not sure postage for a letter... I always used 2 stamps because when I have Sebastian with me standing in line at the PO is a PITA/nearly impossible and Jon says he got that just fine.
Yes, for packages one needs to fill out a very basic custom form (okay... it looks scary but there's actually only 4 pieces of info they want: both addresses (to & from), general contents (aka: perishable, candy, clothing, pictures) and approx. weight.)
The last "package" I sent was candy & pictures to Nabeel= $4. Previous package was a small jug of maple syrup to Chris and that was under $10. (That's really good when you factor weight & distance.)
You know I'm in like Flint! And you always do the same when I ask in terms of when my brother goes over there (he's headed to Afghanistan this month unfortunately) :(
