No, but he's definitely on my to get done list. Him, Ramona Quimby, Matilda, James (of giant peach fame, and the whole insect gang), the BFG, Alice (in Wonderland), nearly anything from Beatrix Potter, Lyle the crocodile, Amelia Bedelia, Pippi Longstocking, etc.

That's boss! (Even though I never really liked Pooh)- otherwise I'm so with you with childhood heroines- Harriet, Alice, Matilda, Amelia and Pippi. Did you ever read The Great Gilly Hopkins? I loved her too even if she wasn't a "classic,"- mostly because she was young, defiant, and cursed. I loved the characters that did things their way.

Cartoon Beetlejuice was probably my favorite even though he was TV/video rather than book. Such a weirdo. I identified well with him and my mom made me paperdoll off him that I held in my arms every night when I slept.
