"I'm going to show you how Norwegians party!", at which point he sat down with his little Norwegian folk instrument and played us another sad love song.
It's completely true! And do you happen to have anything else by Magnet? I completely completely love those two songs & I've never heard him before & he's Norwegian. I love Norwegians with all my heart.
He's wonderful, isn't he? Here's "The Tourniquet", the album Hold On is on. I've also got "On Your Side", but unfortunately it's iTunes protected. You should try to get it though, for it is brilliant!
Hey, I came across your journal when surfing around at lj and I really would like to add you as a friend. I'm 18 years girl from Finland and my name is Silja. I think we have some things incommon, at least music wise (Feist fro example♥). Well, add me if you're interested! :>)
ps. how do you say Irma in the Spanish way? I can only say it in the Finnish way ;>)
Hello, Silja! I apologize for the delayed response (I've been consumed with school and work this week), but I'll definitely add you.
Well, I don't know how you say "Irma" in the Finnish way, but the Spanish way is like "eeeRRma". I always introduce myself to people as "Irma, like earmuffs", if that helps, hehee.
Well the Finnish way is quite similar to the Spanish way I guess but in the Finnish Irma there is very very little r in it. :>) Finns pronounce letters like r, k, t and p very softly, at least according to my English teacher. She always encourages us to be brave and pronounce every letter strongly in our English class! :D
