First of all, your new LJ layout is awesome and really clean and streamlined. This is hardly a compliment in the traditional sense since none of us make layouts ourselves...so what I'm trying to say is, great choice.
Also, congrats on your move! I'm sure you'll find an awesome job in no time. $5 wine tends to be of the kind that stains your teeth badly and tastes sour in my experience, but knowing Chicago, that is probably better there too.
Okay but for serious: this is the most incredible five dollar wine you have ever experienced in your life. (I am being totally redundant as I have said the same thing in response to every comment, BUT I AM SUCH A BELIEVER!)
Also, thanks! I was way behind the times with my S1 layout for way too long, and I got a little too excited when I found this layout that had pretty much exactly the same color scheme as my old one, only not stuck in the dark ages. Hooray!
Chicago sounds great.. I'm glad to hear you're enjoying it. Good luck on the job search.. you're great and I'm sure you'll find something wonderful soon!
How's Chicago in the summer? I've only ever been in the winter/early spring, but I've always wanted to go when it was a bit warmer. I was hoping to take a short trip there this summer, but it's not going to happen unfortunately.
It is FABULOUS here during the summer! I live a few blocks away from the beach and it is lovely, plus there's so much wandering around and exploring to do, not to mention all of the outdoor festivals and art shows around. I love it.
And thanks -- I'm crossing my fingers! Being unemployed in nerve-wracking, let me tell you.
