This past weekend was amazing. I went to Toronto for the first time since i was in middle school, and it was frickin sweet! The first thing i noticed (and the thing that impressed me the most) was how diverse the city was. Actually, every time I watch the olympics over here, pretty much all we talk about are the Americans, be they doing good or bad. I've actually heard that other countries think we have too much National pride.

It makes sense though, if you're in Canada, that you wouldn't be learning much about the American teams :P

Just thought I'd add, that its really hard in America for all the networks to talk about the olimpics and our atheletes, even if they wanted to, because NBC (who has the rights to show the olympics) won't let them show the footage. Its more of a ratings thing than a nationalism thing.
