Thank you God! The Fourth of July weekend is finally over. Although it definitely wasn't fun, it wasn't as bad as I anticipated it being. Could this day get any better? I woke up debating whether or not to go into the city to hang out with Devin. I thought it was going to pour rain but it turned out to be a gorgeous day. Score for working like 45 minutes today and then being sent home. I kinda wish they just told me not to bother coming in so I could have stayed in bed because now I have caffeine in my system and can't get back to sleep. -

I get discouraged sometimes by all the hate and inequality within the United States on the topic of gay marriage. But it's countries like Canada and now Spain that give me hope that someday gay marriage will be legal in the United States. Especially since Spain is such a vehemently Roman Catholic country. The past few days have been quite excellent mostly because I'm getting out of the house and rekindling old friendships. Monday I went out with Ponbiki. He picked me up and we drove to Fairfield and went to Starbucks and Einstein Bros. Bagels. Holy shit I never had a panini but they are wonderful!
