so there's this completely WEIRD store next to the fabric store in astoria.. it's called "Deals Only" and basically... well.. when grocery/drug/any stores have overstock/stuff they can't sell/boxes that get dented.. they send em to this place.. so it's a weird amalgamation of all things random... everything from weird car parts to Hillary Duff ( Read more... )

hooray for quiet time in the house (dinah and masyn are napping)

i finished her little outfit and it looks super cute! i'm really happy that it turned out so well considering how many times i messed up (i sewed one of the bows on the back of the pant leg accidentally *grr*)

so i got this material along with a couple others awhile back... planning to make outfits/shirts for dinah this winter.. i FINALLY dragged out my sewing machine (i have one table for painting/art/sewing/eating dinner hehehe) and finished this tonight! it's slightly lopsided.. but heck i'm happy it looks cute!
