Cosplay Photo Dump
Again, it's been awhile since I shared some my cosplays.
First up, is my Pikachu cosplay. This was done lolita style. I won an award at Kawa-Kon for it titled "Thunderbolt of Cuteness."
Next is another gijinka, Applejack from My Little Pony.
I had the urge to do Alice since I heard of the game. But I didn't feel right about cosplaying from a video I never played. I wasn't able to find a copy and then the sequel came out. I loved it and went ahead. It was also a great opportunity to take cosplay photos with my bunny.
As a Kansan, I felt the need to cosplay the most famous fictional Kansan.
My next meetup is at a shopping center that has a yellow brick road. Great opportunity to get some pics.
I do have a cosplay story to tell. My group held a meetup at a mall as we've done several times before without problem. We were kicked out. First we were accused of loitering and the guard refused to listen to us when we tried to explain we were going to shop when the rest of our group showed up. We then went to iHop and had a good time. The parents of one of my friends called the security office and they told them that we were harassing other customers. In truth, we weren't speaking to anyone outside of our group. I filed a complaint against the guard. I knew costumes weren't against mall rules as FYE sometimes holds cosplay events and then there's the fact the guard lied about our behavior. Eventually the issue was settled, the guard apologized and is facing disciplinary action and we are welcome to come back anytime.
