...I was just temporarily confused about what my "heart" is.

Every day I'm feeling more excited to get back to that feeling, place, warmth. It has been a cold/strange year, save the moments I've been with you. I am almost ready to healthily bear a transatlantic flight. (!!)

Seriously, though, if you have worked out what it is you need, especially in the wake of the emotional rollercoaster you've just been through, I am happy for you and wish you the best for the future.

And now I must go and pray that neither my past English professors or my current employers ever find the ridiculously long sentence I just wrote up there! :DDD

I feel the same way! I really wanted to meet you! Part of this whole thing...leaving my home, etc, was leaving friends/coffee dates in Catalonia! What the hell?? I worked out that what I DON'T want is someone who goads me into giving away all of my things in the USA, steals the money in our spanish bank account, and leaves me on the street with two suicases and no dog! So, as much as I still care for my ex-husband, or the version of him I knew before said emotional carnage...I need to go back to my friends asap before I lose faith in humanity.

Thank you so much for your friendship- it has been awesome. I know that sounds weird, but your comments/posts have gotten me through a lot. I do hope that one day we have that coffee, dammit! I love (love!) Catalonia, and have a feeling I'll be back-- and this time not to some lame island.
