Your teacher was in the wrong. She shouldn't have let the other girl cut in. She should have heard both sides, fully and completely without interruptions. She didn't and as such she failed as a person and as a teacher.

I'm actually surprised you had even as much patients as you did. Had it been me in your place and some guy doing that...i can't honestly say i wouldn't have popped him one once he started cutting off my sentances.
