Having responded to a couple of these, I feel obligated to post it in my journal

Leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember. Don't send a message, leave a comment here. Next, re-post this in your notes/LJ and see how many people leave a memory about you.

The scavenger hunt at a long-ago Ducal Prize. Trying to sing some Supremes (?) song with you that I didn't know well enough. "Swimming" in the river there, because it was so dang hot.

That was the most fun I've ever had at a scavenger hunt. We won as I recall. It's the conversation as we tried to cool off in the river that I remember....

Memorable indeed, conversation especially. And yes, I think we did win! One of my favorite SCA memories, that occasion. :^)

Didn't see you at P-con (did I?), but did see other folks. OMG R. is HUGE! She can't be that tall; I'm not old enough for her to be that grown up. I refuse to allow it.

I was there, but I didn't see you either, I saw your lovely daughter, who is also amazingly tall. I refuse to believe that we have aged in the slightest in spite of impending teenagers.

I don't know you well, but I have a strong sense of liking you. So, I don't have a particular shared memory; but a whole set of small memories that add up to This Is Someone I Like.

I think it might have first been you, at the shop, who got a good look at exactly how tightly I knit. If it was, you made a comment to the rest of the shop that I was getting sock gauge with the Cashsoft 4ply.

Thanks :) I think it was Sandi who identified you as another 'angry' knitter - and she should know.

Coffee at the old Expresso Garden Cafe.

I wish we could have done a bit more of that.

You always carry a book or a notebook and pen; sometimes all three.

I miss that place! I still always have a notebook and pen, and now I almost always have knitting with me.

Today I had a sock and a vest.

The good news is that there is a new coffee house opened in my neighborhood. Roy's Station is a great little coffee house owned by local Japantown residents and it's lovely. I don't think they'll have music, but at least they have good coffee, Oregon Chai, Moon Pies and pork buns.
