so i was set to go off to Cornell in the fall but i just got a call from the Dartmouth board of admissions to tell me that they were accepting me off of the waiting list, so now i am very confused about what to do.

From Ithaca to NYC is a really long drive. It's closer from Hanover to Boston.

Either way, both options include shitty weather, decent rowing teams, great academics, and a living in essentially the middle of nowhere.

I'd go with Dartmouth.

I'd do Cornell. I dunno man, you seem to have been 100% set on going there and everything. Like you were SET to go even before school was over. I say fuck Dartmouth, they got the jump a bit too late.

my piano teacher at fsu was a prof at ithaca college of music for 8 years and he said the weather is abysmal. also there are gorges into which you might fall.

i'd say dartmouth.. and plus it's much older
