After over a week of waiting:

Good News: I got offered the job at Party America.
Equally Good News: I might have an interview at Circuit City tomorrow if everything works out (thanks to Scott, who is being a real pal for me).
News: Circuit City pays $8.25/hr starting and sells CDs (read: my happiness). Party America is offering $7.00 and has

Well I haven't taken the job yet... I'm still kind of holding out for that interview with Circuit City. If I don't get an interview tomorrow through Circuit City, I'll take the job. If I do get the interview, I'll take the job after the interview if there isn't some great stroke of luck and I get hired on the spot (unlikely). Then, if I get the job later through Circuit City, I can quit Party America, etc.

Let's face it, discounted CDs and an extra $1.25 an hour is a much much better deal than $7.00/hr and cheesy balloons.
