trying desperately to sleep in.

sleep in failed. but I had pretty epic bed head.

Time Check! I actually did sleep in. it's never enough though.

Dental hygiene hurrah!

Lucy needs to be let out...which really means she wants to go hide somewhere outside and make me late for work.

At work time check. I got there and realized the batteries in my camera were dead. It took an hour to charge them. :( You didn't miss anything though, I promise.

What's that Mark Hoppus? Tour dates for the blink 182 tour this summer?! You just made my day!!!! See you there on September 12th!

My mail lady brought me tea from starbucks! Thanks Julie!!!

Driving home for lunch because I forgot my cell phone.

This is my neighborhood. It's really pretty and the houses are all really old. I like it a lot.

Went to Drew's house to love on the Mo cat. She's my favorite.

Drew and I are crazy happy about the blink tour. He bought a shirt while I was there. I plan on stealing it.

Back to work. I work at an apartment complex. I had to call 18 people and leave them all messages saying the exact same thing.... not really too exciting huh? I don't look too thrilled.

But the Motion City Soundtrack station on pandora was playing really good music, so it made work mostly tolerable.

Time check! My day at work was so slow and boring.... it's almost time to go home.

I got outside to yell at the residents using the pool because someone complained about the marijuana smoke and the drinking. Whatever, it was so hot out I wished I could join them.

Found an issue of rolling stone in the recycling... decided to read it to pass the time.

Seriously...can you tell I was bored at work?

It was 91 degrees outside....so I was grateful to be in my office with the ac set at 70.

Off work! Super happy to be driving home!!!

even happier that there's no traffic.

Time check.

Let the dogs outside.

Took a shower, started getting ready for the night.

The 90's called, they want their bad hair styles back. No, this just makes my hair wavy.

alright, it's time to get this show on the road.

Stop at sonic for a delicious drink.

Strawberry sprite. Yummy.

On my way to pick up James.

Sacramento is a beautiful city. but traffic on J street on a friday night is not so beautiful. I sat at one light for 3 turns before I got to go.

Obtained one James. The perfect companion for adding snarkiness to a silly night.

We drove to San Francisco to the DNA Lounge for the Hubba Hubba Revue's Asylum. This sign over the sink is proof that they thought we were all insane. (sorry for no driving to sf pics... driving and taking pictures isn't so safe!)

James is totally pissed at me because I didn't really tell him much about the burlesque show, or the crowd that would be in attendance. Not really his scene. He was also made because he paid $17 for two drinks.

While outside smoking with all the cool kids, these guys came up to us and started rapping. It was awesome.

We found Sabrina and I finally got to meet Mr. Gordo. I was so glad they were able to get in. :) They're my favorite technicolor sherbert couple.

The reason we drove to san francisco in the first place! Sunny was doing her first burlesque solo. This is her in costume being totally stoked.

The show FINALLY started (i didn't do a time check, cause I suck. but it was like 11:30p). Lots of antics ensued.

Finding pictures from the show to post was difficult, since there was a lot of mostly nudity and I didn't want to offend anyone.

Sunny was a doll come to life! It was so cute.

Amazing death defying entertainment for only $15

The Living Dead Girlz were great. They did a really cool parody of the Shoes video called Brains. I had a super zombie crush on Amber.

Instead of doing a time check, I did a mileage check, because I drove way too much.

Dropped James off and took a picture of the Capitol of California! That's where Arnold hangs out.

This cat requires so much attention when you get home late at night. And she drools. I'm not her biggest fan.

Since I had an energy drink on the way home, I was wide awake so I decided to do laundry. This is what any rational human being does at 2:30am.

Best shirt ever.

Adventures in laundry folding!!!!!

Blurry final time check. That's 3:15am for you digital folks.

Good night livejournal!!!
