So...today I need a paper topic for Interdisciplinary Commons: Death Penalty. And I still don't have one.

It has to be a death penalty case, and I'm wanting one with some interesting mitigating circumstances. Damnit.

Why can't things like this be simple when I need them to be?

Was Aileen Wournos sentenced to death? She's pretty interesting considering she tried to claim self defense for each of her "rapes" and she's (mis)labeled as the first female serial killer.

Getting raped once while you're a prostitute, expected. Twice, maybe. Three time, eh. Seven times, including a man who two kids and a white-coller job, you're lying so fucking bad.

Funny you should mention that. I actually ended up deciding on her (and yes she did get the death penalty).
