so i was listening to dragonforce on the ride home tonight.. and for some reason it made me pretty nostalgic.. yeah i know its cheesy power metal.. but it made me think 501, when we would all sit around together listening to it and playing super smash brothers or power stone (could i get any nerdier?).. its more than that though i suppose, i miss

But at the same time, that place was like a second home to me. My best friends were there (except the Pepes). They were always there. I could get off work at 4 in the morning and come over and find half of my friends awake and hanging out. We played video games together, we went to the pool together, we'd go out to eat together or to the park together. Now, everyone's split up into their own seperate homes and lives and sometimes it's like pulling teeth to get everyone together.
That place was unlike anything I've ever experienced and I miss it. Not the drugs or the constant partying. But the fact that it was a place that everyone hung out and when you had Saturday night off from work you knew where you were going, because you knew where all your friends were going, too.
